Further Education – Stillorgan College of Further Education

Since 1986, the college has been a specialist centre for Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) and Further Education courses. During these over thirty years, the college has been to the fore in developing innovative courses that meet local, national and international needs. The staff have extensive industry experience in their respective fields and are dedicated to ensuring that, whether aiming to move to Higher Education or entering the employment market, students leave the college with every skill necessary for the future.

The courses offered in the college combine practical training with the development of strong academic skills in order to develop lifelong learning skills for all our students. Because all of our courses are accredited by QQI (formerly FETAC) they offer an alternative pathway to Universities and Institutes of Technology. Indeed, Stillorgan College has an excellent record in facilitating students to progress to degree courses. The college has state-of-the-art facilities and our computer, media and other equipment are constantly upgraded to keep up with today’s ever-changing technology.
