An apprenticeship is a work based structured education and training programme which combines and alternates learning in the workplace with learning in an education or training centre.

Your apprenticeship begins with a contract of employment with an approved employer and depending on the apprenticeship, the programme will take between two and four years to complete.

Apprenticeships are being developed across a wide range of industries and sectors.

For further information on becoming an apprentice contact Loughlinstown Training Centre or visit www.apprenticeship.ie
