UCD is a university for all, where students feel welcome and belong. UCD is interested in attracting lots of different students from all kinds of backgrounds.  Access & Lifelong Learning works with schools and community partners to assist prospective students to explore that first question of “Is University for me?” Right through to graduate employment opportunities, we are here for students on every step of their journey.

Through our outreach programme you can find out about the various routes to studying in UCD, including the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) the Disability Access Route to Education ( DARE), University Access Course, Mature Entry, progression from a College of Further Education, Open Learning and Lifelong Learning Opportunities you can also get an opportunity experience college life or be mentored by a UCD student.

We will also provide you with information on the post entry student supports available  such as disability support, scholarships, and financial assistance, and our University for All initiative.
